I can say I am quite new to Twitter (started in March) and even though I don’t know all the tricks and shortcut to an effective “tweeting” technique I have managed to figure out few ways to increase the number of followers on my profile:
1.1. After reading an article written by Gary McCaffrey (@garymccaffrey) talking about the best time to tweet I came to acknowledge that around 10:00 am and 13:00 pm is the most highest # of visitors present on Twitter.
Around 10:00 am I’ve decided to tweet and as Gary McCaffrey concluded in 10 minutes I’ve got about 30 followers. However, I didn’t get the same number of followers when I decided to tweet around 10:30 pm. So, now I know when I need to tweet to get the most of my followers.
2.2. Follow users that interest you and have got a high number of followers.
3.3. Try to form a friendship relationship between you and your followers; don’t just tweet about articles of interest you’ve read but focus as well on everyday things (personal) that are happening in your life. People like to read REAL stories.
4.4. Invite your followers to participate in fun contests/trivia games organized by you. This way, they realize you are not just a computer that generates information but also a human being.
5.5. Make sure your profile looks appealing and interesting somehow. People love to see new and creative ways of designing a page. They might think you are someone that can get an advice from. So, be creative and unique.
I know, I have a lot of things to learn but for now I thought I should share my findings with newbies on Twitter. Also, watch this helpful video about keeping massive followers on Twitter:
Today, I've ran into this great song by Enigma - Why!, which inspired me to write down the lyrics bellow. I've decided to remix the original lyrics so that it can reflect of what went wrong in my past relationship that it's just ended. Bellow you have my lyrics and the original video. I would suggest to listen to the original song and read my lyrics in the same time:-) Here are the lyrics:
WHY – Anne Marie Moutsinga
I thought I was heading toward a better place in my life
To live with my lovely friend
I was wrong but now it’s too late
I can’t share my life with you anymore
The things you’ve done to me
You neglected me You were blinded by work
I’m asking WHY
I’m asking WHY
Nobody gives an answer
I’m just asking WHY
Many months and stupid fights
I have endured so much
I have got tired and sick of you
Why it has to be like this
When we don’t realize
How important is love in a relationship
Which is always so much fun
I am asking WHY
I am asking WHY
Nobody gives an answer
I’m just asking WHY
Just tell me why Why you had to treat me like that

This morning I had an appointment with the admission coordinator at Daemen College – Buffalo, NY. We went over my admission application into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Everything went well and promising. The meeting lasted about fifteen minutes and was ready to head back to Rochester, NY. My friend and I hopped in the car and started talking about the possibility of me getting into the physical therapy school and things that could go along with it. The atmosphere was full of hope, excitement, and confidence. As a matter of fact, the atmosphere was so thrilling that carried was away from going back home toward Niagara Falls – an unplanned trip. Arriving to the prominent Niagara Falls things couldn’t get any better. After stopping by the Information Center to grab our free gifts a map and a card, and after buying a disposal camera of course, we were “equipped” to head to the Falls. As I got there, I have seen how the grown up girl in me transformed into this innocent child that got excited of seeing the beauty of the Niagara Falls, the beauty of the nature. It was that amazing that I tried to “steal” the scene with my disposable camera. I was sensing and absorbing everything I could feel and see in my way starting with the smell of the fresh-fall air and ending with the unforgettable colors of the rainbow, respectively. When I thought that it couldn’t get any better than that I found myself a few feet away from the Falls. I was that close that I could feel the refreshing mist on my face. It was unbelievable and indescribable experience. I wanted to stay there for the rest of the day and see everything the Niagara Falls had to offer but we had to wake up to reality and head back home from our unplanned trip. Spontaneity makes things more fun.
